CSA

CSA (Canadian Standards Association) provides and maintains the basic safety-related mark, which is equivalent to the UL mark. It is recognised in Canada and in USA.

SZU has the status of a Testing Facility, which is the basis for subsequent award of the CSA mark. SZU qualification is based on fulfilment of the ISO/IEC 17025:2005 requirements.

The actual testing is witnessed by CSA staff and, currently, the mark can be obtained for:

SZU now works on having its competence extended to boilers for solid fuels and to heat pumps. It continuously monitors interest the potential exporters and manufacturers show in other groups of products, to be able to extend its competence to those products as well.
