Together with manufacturers, the Pressure Appliances Section conducts conformity assessment of new and reconstructed pressure appliances to the extent specified by Directive 2014/68/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council (Government Regulation 219/2016 Coll., as amended). As the accredited Inspection Body of the type A, SZU performs activities with regard to new, operated and dedicated pressure appliances within the territories of the Czech Republic as well as abroad.
