On 26 September 2022, a ceremony was held at SZU in Brno to present certificates to high-ranking representatives of S-Fuelcell and its parent company S-Energy.
Thanks to a cooperation agreement concluded in 2019 between the Engineering Test Institute (SZU) and the Korean company S-Fuelcell, it was possible to ensure long-term testing of fuel cells and subsequent conformity assessment and certification for the EU market. SZU Korea made a significant contribution to the establishment of this cooperation.
The long-term tests were carried out on a product based on hydrogen fuel cells, which can produce hydrogen from natural gas and subsequently electricity and heat energy from it.
The handover ceremony was attended by the Director of SZU Mr. Tomáš Hruška and other SZU representatives, our Korean partners from SZU Korea also participated in the ceremony and as a guest speaker there was Mr. Tomáš Kubala, Deputy Chairman of the Board of RHK Brno and Executive Director of Industry Cluster 4.0.
