On 28 January 2020, representatives of the leading German certification company DIN CERTCO, Mr. Sören Scholz (Head of Certification Body) and Ms. Katharina Vehring (Product Manager) visited the SZU Headquarters.
The visit was a direct follow-up to the previous meeting held in December 2019, when the foundations for future closer cooperation between the two entities were successfully laid. Both guests were personally welcomed by Mr. Tomáš Hruška, Director-General of SZU. The program included a guided tour of our testing laboratories, followed by a fruitful meeting, during which both sides discussed possibilities of a joint business approach and extension of SZU’s accreditation to include testing of other products for the German market, particularly in the field of heat equipment.
SZU currently offers to manufacturers the possibility to obtain the DIN-Geprüft certification mark for radiators. However, other categories of products for which the DINplus mark can also be offered were selected during our meeting. Such a mark is only granted to products that meet the highest quality standards.
We are very pleased that a positive business liaison has been established between SZU and DIN CERTCO and that both parties are keen on supporting each other and developing further their joint activities.
