SZU newly registered in the French Flamme Verte programme for testing of local heaters burning wood (pellets).

SZU (local heater test station) was registered as of 31 May 2017. Prior to the registration, a number of steps were taken including an initial interlaboratory comparison (RRT) with a number of foreign entities.
After meeting the technical criteria, i.e. efficiency and emission levels, the Flamme Verte programme shall enable to categorize, classify and provide products with a quality marking at three levels.

The level reached affects subsequently the amount of subsidy that can be obtained when purchasing the products registered in the programme.
The Flamme Verte programme runs under the auspices of the French Association for Renewable Energy
(Syndicat des Energies Renouvelables).
