Cooperation SZÚ + KEAA

SZU confirmed its interest in long-term cooperation in the Korean market by concluding the fourth generation of the cooperation agreement with the Korean Energy Appliance Association KEAA (2012, 2015, 2018 and 2024).

With the signing of the memorandum with KEAA, SZU continues its cooperation in the field of gas appliances and now extends it to the heat pumps and hydrogen sector.

The event was attended by representatives of both institutions, Tomáš Hruška (CEO) from SZÚ, Sun Man Kwon (Vice President) and Ki Jong Song (Senior Researcher) from KEAA and others. The guest of honor of the day was Tomáš Kubala, Chairman of the Board of Industry Cluster 4.0, z.s.

Vice President Sun Man Kwon commented on global trends in industrial markets, "Now that the response to climate change and the transition to green energy are becoming global issues, hydrogen appliances and heat pump technology are also growing in importance."

Tomáš Hruška, Director General of SZÚ, said, "Services provided to foreign entities currently account for almost 60% of our total turnover. This positive trend is confirmed by the fact that SZÚ issued certificates to 43 countries in the past year alone."

The conclusion of this memorandum is a significant step towards strengthening mutual cooperation and promoting technological progress. This day represents not only a formal pledge of a long-term partnership, but also a confirmation of shared goals and visions for future technologies. Both parties look forward to developing new activities that will contribute to innovation in the global marketplace.
