Climatic and corrosion tests

Climatic tests

Climatic tests (chill, dry and moist heat, temperature changes, moisture) as per EN 60068-2-x).

Chamber:

Volume of test space: 750 dm³ 

Temperature and climatic parameters:

• Max. temperature: +180°C
• Min. temperature: -70°C
• Temperature range: +10°C ÷ 95°C
• Humidity range: 10 %r.v. ÷ 95% r.v.

Corrosion tests

Corrosion resistance tests are performed in our laboratory in Jablonec nad Nisou on modern LIEBISH and QLAB chambers. The QLAB cycling chamber can alternate between environments (NSS, condensed water, air, shower) and can also be set to different temperatures and humidity levels. The LIEBISH chamber is designed primarily for NSS testing.

QLAB chamber:

Volume of test space: 1 100 dm³. Temperature range: 20°C - 70°C, according to the chosen test.

LIEBISH chamber:

• Corrosion resistance in neutral salt spray (sodium chloride), Liebish & Weiss climate test chamber, by NSS method according to ČSN EN ISO 9227:2017 and to customer requirements

What is also tested:

• Corrosion resistance in condensation chamber
• Corrosion resistance in cyclic testing (environmental changes during tests)

What is assessed:

• Appearance of and changes in the product surface finish during and after test
• Resistance of paint coating after condensation chamber test
• Adhesion after test with cutting tool (single-blade, multiple-blade)
• After completion of tests photos are taken (always)
