In 2020, based on our high expertise, we were recognized✅ as an accredited testing laboratory of the European RADMAC group, in accordance with all requirements for radiators, convectors and floor convectors with a fan according to test standards EN 442 and EN 16430.
What is the RADMAC system and how will this accreditation help you as a radiator manufacturer? You can find the answer in today's article.
The importance of the European RADMAC group lies in the harmonization of all voluntary quality labels for radiators in European countries. RADMAC has set up a system which not only unifies the certification requirements between the various certification bodies, but also leads to an agreement between these bodies on the mutual recognition of test reports and inspection reports.
RADMAC currently consists of five major certification bodies:
In accordance with all requirements for radiators, convectors and floor convectors with a fan according to test standards EN 442 and EN 16430, our test laboratory was recognized in the RADMAC group by the DIN CERTCO certification body.
So what does this news mean for you - the manufacturer of radiators? If you hold at least one of the voluntary certification marks (e.g. DIN CERTCO), you can use the RADMAC program to recognize all certification marks within the program without having to perform additional tests and inspections for each mark separately.
One of the certification bodies sends an auditor which covers all relevant certification marks. The certification bodies listed in the RADMAC program (see above) will then receive a certification report.
Our testing laboratory may take samples for audit tests that are important to meet all the requirements of the certification body. The individual certification bodies will accept the test reports issued by us and the manufacturers will award the certification marks listed in the RADMAC group program.
For you, this really means significant cost and time savings that would have to be spent on numerous visits and many measurements needed to cover all certification marks in the system.
